Shipping/Receiving Specialist

General Information:Hitachi Energy in Alamo, TN is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Specialist to join its team. This position will be responsible for helping to fulfill customer orders. This position will be responsible for a majority of the receiving dock processes.Your Responsibilities:Prepare documents needed for shipping e.g. packing slips, BOLs, commercial invoices, etc.Coordinate with delivery services to book and track shipments as neededVerify and store incoming material in proper locations to ensure inventory accuracyResponsible for ensuring shipped materials are packaged correctly and easily identifiable for both internal and external customersFollow all safety and work procedures to pull, inspect, package and label customer orders from various storage locations to meet shipment schedule and customer demandContinuously train on new equipment and processes within the shipping department and based upon additional responsibilitiesMust be able to read and comprehend safety procedures, work instructions, drawings and shipment documentationLiving Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.Your Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent requiredAssociate degree in accounting, finance, business, or closely related field preferredManufacturing experience preferredExperience with SAP and Microsoft Office strongly desiredCandidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
