SUMMARY
Come help us support the Supply Chain that builds Rockets! We are looking for high energy individual with exceptional attention to detail. The Contract-Indirect Buyer position provides critical support for operations, maintenance and other mission needs at our launch site. This position is critical to the growth of our company.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Supply Chains System (Odoo) super user and maintain all Jira tickets and improvement activities
Responsible for Supply Chain portion of Data Integrity
Support all clean-up of data and system projects.
Responsible for training new Supply Chain personnel and others
Responsible for training content
Processes and Work instructions
Supply Chain Analytics and KPI owner
Proactively monitor and manage key performance indicators and execute root cause analysis
Responsible for report creation and maintenance including; exceptions, dashboards, open order, etc.
Support the design and implementation of a developed supply chain goals and initiatives
Support cost savings program including costing, data and KPIs
Work with internal subject matter expert to resolve problems and support implementations
Follow processes that are set by engineering and help implement any process changes
Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
5 - 10 years’ experience in Supply Chain/Purchasing
R & D experience
Aerospace Experience
AS9100 experience
BA, BS in related field
Great project management and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal and influencing skills
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to back up conclusions with data
Time management skills, with the ability to separate the important tasks from the noise
Sense of urgency, with the ability to work well under pressure
MS Office (including Excel, Word & Outlook)
Software operation and data entry skills
Proficiency to analyze quotes to determine the overall best offer for a product/service; including supplier past performance, capability, capacity, and financial stability
Experience with Service Contracts, State Tax Schedule, Facilities contracts, consumables, Contractors, sub-contractors, etc.
Desired
Finance Background/Education.
Odoo ERP/MRP knowledge.
ITAR experience.
Aerospace Industry as an OEM, Supplier, Contractor, Sub-contractor.
Experience in an Engineering development, Proto-typing and test environment a plus.
Experience in AS9100 environment a plus.
