Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Scrum Master to join our team! In this role you will get to will be experienced with agile software development principals and best practices, and will be capable of maintain ticket backlog, prioritizing work items and ensuring that the team is working on critical tasks
What You'll Be Doing:
Lead agile ceremonies consisting of daily scrum meetings, sprint planning sessions, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
Assist the team with building new tickets based on user story input
Maintain ticket backlog, prioritizing work items and ensuring that the team is working on critical tasks
Identify issues impairing the team’s efficiency / development velocity
Track and report on team progress during sprint reviews
Foster the team, helping to improve agile best-practices of others
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Strong knowledge of agile principals and best practices
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with Atlassian product suite (i.e. Jira, Git and Confluence)
Experience working with software development teams
Ability to work cooperatively with local and distributed team members
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Certified Scrum Master
Prior experience using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or similar approach for Program Increment planning
Well-versed with modern software development best practices
Prior experience developing web-based Applications
Prior experience with software projects utilizing microservices architecture
Prior experience working with the DoD FIRES community and/or DoD Command and Control systems would be beneficial

Salary Range:
$96,400.00 - $168,700.00
