What you will doAs a Senior Sourcing Lead, you will utilize your sourcing expertise to lead strategic/tactical buying and Indirect category strategies at a Fortune-ranked company. As you partner with our internal team and client stakeholders to ensure we can meet project goals with clients, you will also be mentoring and directing resources across our engagement.
Execute Complex and strategic sourcing projects of categories/sub-categories to include: translating business requirements into clear statements of Work, solicits bids, leads auctions.
Should prepare negotiation scripts and negotiate with suppliers, makes recommendations, helps on-board, qualifies and contracts with new vendor and ensures compliance
Demonstrated ability to apply and translate business expertise to breakthrough thinking that significantly impacts the clients long-term strategic position, thought leaders.
Manage and optimize functional sourcing support activities while ensuring adherence to clients corporate standards. Provide necessary information input to enablement group
Engage with internal & external business partners to ensure that decisions are based on the broad scope of the organization and achieve optimum daily execution
Manage project allocation, support team members during kick off meeting and share best practices
Monitoring performance satisfaction, ensuring all SLAs accountable for are met and drive continuous improvement initiatives , participate in recruitment
What you should bring
Bachelor’s Degree required with Minimum 8 years of experience in Sourcing and Procurement
Specific category experience in Indirect (MRO, Capex, Logistics, IT & Professional Services, Marketing) preferred.
Advanced analytical, reporting and presentation skills i.e. regarding creating baselines, performing market tests/analyses, summarizing the key points succinctly by email/in presentations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers/vendors
Multi-tasking as needed to manage various procurement projects/tasks at once while partnering with various stakeholders
Ability to lead and manage meetings effectively and communicate with all levels of management at our client organization
Proven success in team management
