The Joint, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Interagency Division (JOID) provides expert support services to a range of customers spanning across the Department of Defense, Federal Civilian, and international markets. JOID provides a diverse portfolio of analytical and programmatic capabilities to help our customers make informed decisions on their most challenging issues.

The Critical Infrastructure Group (CIG) within JOID provides technical, programmatic and analytical support to customers with missions in national security to include the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Health and Human Services (HHS), and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The Group brings technical and operational expertise in fields of countering weapons of mass destruction, critical infrastructure protection, emergency response, nuclear non-proliferation, weapons deployment programs, and transportation safety. In addition to management and advisory services, CIG staff collaborate closely with our clients to provide high-quality modeling, simulation, software, and analytical products to meet the most demanding government standards and timelines.

SPA's Critical Infrastructure Group (CIG) has an immediate need for a Senior Administrative Support Coordinator to provide onsite support in Arlington, VA.

ResponsibilitiesSPA seeks a Senior Administrative Support Coordinator who can work on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of programs and perform all functional duties independently. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting more senior positions and/or performing functional duties under the oversight of more senior positions. The candidate will also provide support for various administrative functions for the client's Chief of Staff, who is responsible for all administrative functions across the client's organization. The candidate will manage and track internal and external taskers; manage and coordinate executive leaders and/or team calendars; arrange and coordinate travel, and facilitate preparation for travel authorizations and vouchers; coordinate, plan, and facilitate senior leader meetings, offsites, or reviews; and assist in the development and execution of workplace wellness initiatives.

QualificationsRequired:

10+ years of professional experience

Bachelor's degree

Experience working with/supporting senior leadership/management staff in company or government

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and capable communicator (written and oral)

Able to obtain a favorable DHS Suitability determination

Desired:

Experience using Microsoft Office products
