We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced financial executive to join our team as Controller. This role is pivotal in ensuring the financial stability, strategic planning, and compliance of our firm.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Financial Leadership:Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategiesProvide strategic direction and advise the CEO and firm executives on financial mattersManage relationships with shareholders, lenders, and other stakeholdersOversee financial planning, analysis, and reportingFinancial Management:

Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reportsEnsure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processesMaintain accounting records and internal controlsManage the general ledger and ensure compliance with GAAPLead the budgeting and forecasting processesMonitor financial performance and initiate corrective actionsDevelop forecasts, report results, and analyze variancesCompliance and Risk Management:

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements and tax filingsDevelop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assetsMitigate key elements of the company's risk profileMonitor reliable control systems related to finance and HRProvide support with relationships of insurance vendors and ensure appropriate coverageEnsure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirementsTeam Leadership:

Supervise and mentor the corporate accounting and finance teamsProvide training and development opportunities for staffFoster a collaborative and high-performance work environmentThe Ideal Candidate :

The ideal candidate will provide strategic oversight with hands-on financial management to drive our growth and ensure our financial health. This role will oversee the overall financial strategy, internal accounting operations, and day-to-day financial management, playing a crucial role in guiding the firm's financial direction and supporting its growth.

Requires:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldCPA or CMA certification preferredMinimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experienceStrong knowledge of GAAP and financial reportingExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsProficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExperience with General Ledger Accounting Systems required, Sage Intacct preferredWhat we Offer :
