Among the key duties of the position are the following:
Manages the development, maintenance, and publication of the university's academic catalogs and curriculum.Works university-wide with school deans, senior administrators, the Office of Veteran Services and departmental staff to generate undergraduate, graduate and professional university catalogs.Works closely with the catalog/curriculum vendor to ensure timely release and publication to adhere to compliance requirements.

Bachelor's degree, preferably in English, journalism, marketing, library studies, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.Two (2) years of experience in communications, marketing or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills; must know proofreaders' marks.Knowledge of
Chicago Manual

styles.Must be organized, detail oriented with strong planning and problem-solving skills.Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Must be diplomatic, tactful, and exhibit confidentiality.Excellent verbal and written communications skills.Must be able to work autonomously and as a team member and leader.Ability to work effectively under pressure of deadlines and able to manage work load in order to meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a web-based catalog system, database management, or in developing web sites.Knowledge of HTML coding.Experience in marketing and public relations in a higher education or not-for-profit setting.Experience working with CourseDog catalog/curriculum system.
