Join AWS as a Product Manager to lead the development of new Workforce Planning tools and experiences that span numerous systems and organizations. We build and leverage technology to enable the people planning experience of customers in AWS leadership, HR, Finance, and Recruiting. Our solutions scale the AWS global footprint by helping leaders to; put the right person, in the right place, at the right time. Our mission is to build scalable and robust software solutions and services to plan for the entire talent lifecycle of the AWS workforce.

The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded technical background and a history of leading large projects end-to-end. To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate professional maturity, high level judgment, negotiation skills, the ability to influence, analytical talent and a result driven mindset. Key job responsibilities

• Manage complex products, services, and cross organizational integrations

• Make appropriate trade-offs between business vs. technical constraints, clearly communicate goals, roles, and responsibilities.

• Work cross-functionally to Identify and secure commitment from tech teams across the company for new initiatives

• Drive consensus on the product, service strategy and customer needs

• Design the tools and features powering Amazon Web Services' workforce planning products, programs and metrics

A day in the life

As a Product Manager, you will design, coordinate, and execute product solutions that scale AWS globally. This role will be highly visible owning the communication, coordination, and execution of a multi-year product vision and roadmap. You will work with senior product, program, and engineering leaders to define strategy and requirements all while being a liaison with customers and peers across other teams in AWS, Recruiting and Finance to prioritize customer needs.

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

Experience with end to end product delivery

Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

Experience as a product manager or owner

Experience owning technology products

Product or Service Experience in people planning or related fields; headcount management, HR analytics, hire demand planning, talent forecasting, FP&A etc.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Master's degree or equivalent

Strong data analysis skills; the ability to run data analysis and synthesize data to make on-point business decisions

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
