The EM Student Ambassador Program, looks for students who are leaders both in and out of the classroom. Student Ambassadors promote a sense of community for students enrolled at the Rutgers School of Health Professions. Student Ambassadors serve as positive role models for both current and prospective students. As an EM Student Ambassador you will be required to assist the Office of Enrollment Management, Admissions, Registrar, and EOF program during various student recruitment activities. Some activities will require weekend or evening participation.Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
Calling Prospective Students.Conducting Scheduled Campus Tours for prospective students and their families.Assist admissions staff with various secretarial/administrative assignments.Assist with Open Houses, and any other events hosted or co-hosted by the Admissions Office.Greet and provide directions, general information and assistance to visitors, students and staff.Maintain and assist with tracking of Admissions Inventory.Attend Student Ambassador Professional Development.Maintain proper work attire, business casual. Wearing your assigned Rutgers SHP Student Ambassador Polo during all events.Assist admissions staff with various secretarial/administrative assignments.Assisting with updating EM Student Ambassador Social Media (Twitter, FB, Instagram) regularly.Answering questions and referring questions to appropriate admissions counselors or departments.Schedule campus visits and interviews for prospective studentsOther duties as assigned.
