ABOUT THIS POSITION We are recruiting for a Prior Authorization Supervisor to join our team at our Golden Valley, MN location. In this newly created position, you be providing expertise in the areas of Government and Commercial reimbursement in the United States. You will be responsible for the intake and predetermination processes within the Inspire Prior Authorization Program and managing the Prior Authorization team in the United States. You will work with the Market Access-Prior Authorization Leader to ensure all patient prior authorizations are submitted in a timely manner and that all cases are treated with consistent attention to detail. OPPORTUNITIES YOU WILL HAVE IN THIS ROLE Managing the Inspire Prior Authorization team and process through regular coaching and guidance. Partner to track Inspire's predetermination success and work with the Market Access Prior Authorization Leader to drive/measure process improvements based on best practices methodology. Manage the Prior Authorization team to ensure standard and professional practices. Ensure level of performance and partnership is high quality across all territories. Collaborate with Market Access Prior Authorization Leader on territory assignments and responsibilities. Work in conjunction with Market Access Prior Authorization Leader to execute action plans and objectives to support internal/external customers. Seek continuous process improvement to increase success rates and reduce time to success. Assisting with the process of internal training of the sales team, along with customers and their staff on obtaining insurance prior authorizations Cover job responsibilities for team members and Market Access Prior Authorization Leader when needed. LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES: Assisting with Onboarding new hires, along with in office training Motivating Team members daily and partnering on development opportunities Communicating with direct reports on performance and coaching on feedback Training providers and their facilities/staff on prior authorization requirements Educating the Prior Authorization team where needed Working with field sales/leadership to assist where needed with account support Run Audit Reports as needed Rolling out and implementing new processes as needed QUALITY SYSTEM RESPONSIBILITIES: Document product and therapy related field reports within the prescribed timelines and provide any necessary documents required to complete the investigation. Provide follow-up reporting as needed. Complete training requirements and competency confirmations as required for this position within the required timeline. Comply with applicable quality system procedures/policies and make suggestions for continuous process improvement.
