ORC is seeking a full-time, exempt
Right of Way Agent
to work on projects based out of the St. Charles, MO office. The selected candidate must reside within a 45-minute commute of our St. Charles, MO office and be able to travel locally and throughout Missouri about 25% of the time. At ORC, diversity matters, voices are heard, and leadership shows they care.What you will be doing:As a Right of Way Agent, you will acquire right of way rights per project guidelines and regulations, for electric transmission projects in support of the Project Manager (PM), or members of the project team. The selected candidate will be responsible forpreparing real estate documents, performing basic property research for ownership and boundary information, and communicating with property owners and their representatives for the acquisition of right of way. You will be responsible for performing general administrative work including but not limited to preparing legal documents, reports and correspondence, attending meetings, entering and retrieving computer data, copying and filing documents for file management, verbal and written communications with customers, customer service and related functions.We are looking for someone who:Can manage deadlines and prioritize effectivelyHas a responsible and organized approach to workIs approachable and good at interacting with people from all walks of lifeIs a problem solver with attention to detail and strong negotiation skillsCan communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writingCan work independently and as part of a team

Must be proficient with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, Outlook, and DropboxMust have an iOS or Android smartphone to be able to access ORC's systemsValid Driver's License

While meeting with clients and vendors, will need to be outdoors traversing different types of landscapes.
