Lead Program Manager - Technical

Position Overview
We are seeking a Lead Program Manager - Technical with Truck/Bus assembly/engineering experience. In this role you'll work in the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering group and be Manufacturing's representative on cross-functional new program development teams who will engage from product program charter to product implementation and full production.
Responsibilities
Understand the truck/bus manufacturing process at all International locations
Become the main Manufacturing interface/representative within new product program management teams
Provide input and feedback consistent with the manufacturing strategy and requirements and approve/reject all new product designs accordingly
Interface with the manufacturing program leads, the manufacturing plants and the AME implementation leads
Estimates manufacturing cost, determines time standards, and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines
Provide manufacturing information by answering questions and requests
Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed
Work directly with Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials, Quality, Purchasing and other New Product Development groups
Support Manufacturing and plant goals of safety, quality and cost
Minimum Requirements
Master’s degree
At least 6 years of technical project/program management experience
At least 1 year of lead experience
OR
Bachelor’s degree
At least 8 years of technical project/program management experience
At least 1 year of lead experience
OR
At least 10 years of technical project/program management experience
At least 1 year of lead experience
Additional Requirements
Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
