The team you will be a part of
The Brand Management team promotes and maintains the brand image at local, national or international levels. Coordinates marketing strategies, including packaging, pricing, expense budgets, advertising and promotion of the brand. Develops associated advertising campaigns for the brand.
This role in summary
Marketing account lead that develops retailer activation plans to promote and represent our products effectively. Driving sales and consumer engagement through unique shopping experiences, enhancing brand visibility and preference. Acting as the primary marketing contact for strategic development and execution within the Independent Retailer channel.
Your responsibilities will include
Account management for Independent Retail Accounts
Develop an annual activation plan, in close collaboration with the sales and and marketing teams, ensuring alignment of priorities and strategic direction
Lead marketing planning and oversee plan execution in partnership with the retailer including investment negotiation, plan development, media planning, content development and measurement planning & reporting for Instore, online, and omnichannel
Collaborate with brand teams, in-store lead, retailer.com lead and retailer/buy groups to execute current and future strategies and opportunities
Buy Fair execution support from a Shopper/Activation Marketing lens
Ownership of Marketing resourcing tools and database (Marketing Playbook)
Creation and execution of promotional campaign assets, customized and co-marketing campaigns for the retailers
Collaborate on strategy with instore lead for displays and facilitate buy-in with retailers
Strategy and communication lead for co-branded campaigns
Minimum requirements
Bachelor’s Degree
2+ years of experience in one or more of the following: Marketing, Account Management, Sales, Product Development, Brand Management, Merchandising, Channel Marketing or Shopper Marketing
Preferred skills and experiences
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing
Agency and Vendor Management experience
Experience in In-Store Marketing or Merchandising
Strong influencing, consultative and relationship building skills - including advocating for the shopper, aligning objectives across teams and partnering internally and externally to grow the business and brand equity
Proactive project management skills as well as strong time management, prioritization and organization acumen
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal plus the ability to perceive and present information both analytically and creatively
Experience with digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media
Learning agility, growth mindset, critical thinking, sound judgment and effective decision-making ability
Proficient computer skills, especially with Google Slides and Sheets
Strong analytical skills to measure and interpret campaign performance and market trends
Experience in building and maintaining relationships with clients or stakeholders
Familiarity with marketing strategies, consumer behavior, and promotional tactics
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including creative, sales, and product development
Strong problem-solving abilities to address challenges and develop effective solutions
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
