GLOTECH, Inc. is seeking a Systems Administrator to support the corporate office of United Parks & Resorts, located in Orlando, Florida. As a Hybrid Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing and supporting our Azure cloud environment alongside our on-premises Hyper-V infrastructure. You will ensure seamless integration and optimal performance across our extensive network of over 1,000 virtual servers. Your responsibilities will include capacity planning, performance monitoring, and incident management, all aimed at maintaining a reliable and secure IT environment. You will also oversee SQL server deployments, manage IIS, and handle certificate management to effectively support our applications.Specifically, the routine daily duties will include:Maintain and optimize cloud and on-premises environments, focusing on Microsoft Azure.

Manage critical IT systems, including Office 365, SharePoint, e-mail, file, print, and backup systems.Oversee all on-premises hardware and equipment, including Hypervisors, F5 Load Balancers, Dell and PURE Storage, and Rubrik.Respond to production incidents: Monitoring production environment; responding to problem alerts in a timely manner; participate in on-call rotation to provide 24x7 support for critical systems.Managing configuration: applying security patches or new updates/version releases; implementing change requests; maintain diagrams and documentation.Deploy, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot server hardware, operating system, and other issues.Ensure the timely application of all system updates and patches for Windows Servers (2012/2016/2019) and Windows 10/11, including course deployments of these OS.Complete daily backup tasks and data archiving according to defined procedures and disaster recovery requirements.Monitors system performance and makes suggestions to improve overall performance.Performs routine diagnostics and maintenance and service.Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving ability.Participate in planning migrations from On-Premises to Cloud ProvidersWork with Private Endpoints, Virtual Networks, Network Security Groups, Azure Site Recovery, Windows Virtual Desktops (WVDs/AVDs), Virtual Machines, Redis Cache, and Managed Instances.Deploy SQL servers and set up connections to ensure optimal database performance and availability.Manage IIS and oversee certificate management to ensure secure communications.Manage IT asset inventory, including maintenance of documentation and technical specifications.Administer and maintain end-user accounts, permissions, and access rights.Oversee hosted systems and services (IAAS, PAAS, SAAS).Perform system backups and recovery operations.Monitor system performance using tools like Datadog and Azure Analytics, generating reports on key metrics.May be required to perform scripting/programming as part of ongoing system performance monitoring and management effortsTroubleshoot and resolve incidents using a ticketing system.Recommend, schedule, and perform IT system improvements, upgrades, and repairs.Ensure the security of all IT systems and maintain compliance with applicable regulations, collaborating with the IT Security Team.Good interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with other team members and other business units.Qualifications

Knowledge of Windows Servers (2012/2016/2019) and Active Directory.Knowledge of Windows Server security, understanding of vulnerabilities and counter measuresKnowledge of knowledge of Active Directory, GPO, DHCP, DNS, WINS, NTFS & TCP/IP and RADIUSKnowledge of VMware and Hyper-V virtualization administrationKnowledge of MDM tools such as Intune, Hexnode, or JAMF.Knowledge of Windows Defender for endpoint protection.Knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures and migration strategies.Knowledge of System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) for software deployment and system management Experience scripting with PowerShell, WMI and / or batch file creation preferredExperience managing users and groups within Active Directory.Experience supporting Red Hat Enterprise LinuxExperience in basic Cisco device configuration and troubleshootingKnowledge of Microsoft Exchange and SharePoint administrationStrong technical aptitude, self-motivated and ability to research & solve complex issues independently.Ability to effectively communicate issues and resolutions to all levels of the organizationAbility to maintain confidentiality with sensitive customer and internal informationExperience administering Microsoft clusteringExperience installing, administering and supporting System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) 2016Experience with on-call rotations.Proven experience in managing Azure and Hyper-V environmentsCloud Hosting Management - AWS, Azure preferred and AWS or GCP is a plusAzure certification (e.g., Azure Administrator Associate).Familiarity with Azure App Service Plans.Experience in hybrid connected environments.Understanding of cloud computing concepts, virtualization, and networking.Understanding of security best practices in cloud and virtualization environmentsProficiency in PowerShell or other scripting languages for automation.Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Datadog and Azure Analytics.Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Terraform).Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.Must be available to work onsite in Orlando, FL as neededGLOTECH, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer - Minorities/Females/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities.
