The
Director of Compensation and Benefits
will develop, implement, and manage comprehensive compensation and benefits programs to support our company's strategic objectives and foster a positive employee experience. This role is essential to attracting, motivating, and retaining top talent while aligning our total rewards framework with our cultural values and business goals. Develop and drive a comprehensive Total Rewards strategy, covering compensation, benefits, well-being, and recognition programs that align with organizational goals, market trends, and the company's cultural values.Lead the design, evaluation, and administration of compensation programs, including salary banding, job analysis, market benchmarking, and pay equity initiatives, to ensure internal fairness and market competitiveness.Manage all aspects of benefits programs, including health, welfare, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives. Ensure these programs are cost-effective, compliant, and aligned with employee needs.Conduct analyses to inform program effectiveness and strategy. Prepare and present data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to compensation and benefits. Oversee the administration and accuracy of benefits plan documents, plan design, and related processes.Partner with HR, Finance, and Legal to align Total Rewards strategies with business priorities and ensure budgetary alignment. Foster strong relationships to support a collaborative, employee-centric culture.Develop and implement communication strategies to educate employees on compensation, benefits, and wellness offerings. Promote transparency and understanding of Total Rewards programs across the organization.Manage relationships with benefits providers, negotiate terms, and ensure effective program delivery. Oversee the annual benefits review and planning process.Oversee the HRIS platform, focusing on system enhancements, integrations, and user experience to support Total Rewards processes.CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE
A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is required. A master's degree is preferred.At least 8 years of experience in compensation and benefits, with at least two years in a strategic leadership role. Experience with compensation and benefits programs is a plus.Preferred certifications include Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS), or SHRM-CP/SCP.Proficient in HRIS systems, such as Paylocity or similar, and data analysis tools. Strong expertise in compensation analysis and benefits administration software.Proven experience in strategic planning, change management, and influencing senior management and key stakeholders. Strong leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams and foster collaboration.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex Total Rewards concepts to diverse employee audiences.Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to respond to changing business needs and market conditions.WORK SETTING
In-person, Monday to Friday.Corporate Office in Scottsdale, AZ.Limited travel may be required.
