We are looking for a phenomenal Hospital Director to join our team! This person will be responsible for overseeing the business aspects of hospital operations and upholding a sound medical environment in a very large veterinary hospital that includes general practice, surgery, internal medicine, oncology, and emergency. The Director will be working daily in a company that genuinely values local input and decision-making. The Director will support Leaders/Supervisors and the Medical Director to meet goals and foster an excellent service culture and working environment.

What you will be doing but not limited to:

Accountability for the hospital profit & loss statements

Responsibility to foster a collaborative and positive culture and work environment

Focus on exceeding client expectations

Oversight of Leaders/Supervisors and Medical Director who support approximately 50 associates including doctors, technicians, veterinary assistants, and paraprofessional staff

Develop and grow future leaders

Oversight and development of onboarding, training, and continuity programs

Cultivate relationships within the veterinary community

Support the recruitment of medical professionals

Who we are looking for:

Prior specialty/emergency veterinary management knowledge is a plus.

Strong leadership skills to develop a solid team and proven success in engaging with veterinary professionals

Excellent analytical and organization skills, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

Prior leadership for a specialty hospital or multi-site operational business

Proven experience building high performing teams

Ability to multi-task and deal with high levels of stress in an environment of changing priorities

Experienced record of generating revenue growth and ability to balance short-term needs and priorities while building for the future

Special Working Conditions:

Flexibility in schedule and hours of availability

The environment where pets are present

Periodic travel required

Salary Range: $90,000- $115,000
