Responsibilities
The Budget analyst will provide direct support to the College of Strategic Security Cooperation (CSSC) and the Defense SCO Institute (DSI).
Handle DTS travel for students and support as needed.
Perform a variety of budget duties and responsibilities.
Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
What You Will Do:
Provide budget support for all DSCU financial operations
Prepare budget reports for various funding sources related to student funding, DTS orders, non-DTS orders, DSCU contracts, FMS, and OM&N
Analyze funding by activity accounting for incoming funds and expenditures
Enter budget data and perform reconciliation for various accounts
Utilize DTS, DTA, and FDTA roles to manage accounts
Key Responsibilities:
Providing day to day budget support to CSSC and DSI
Working closely with students on DTS issues
Customer service and communication skills are important
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or at least one-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education
Experience:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power BI
Financial background
Working independently with the ability to stay motivated and multitask.
Work as a team to support the mission of the senior leadership office.
Other Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
