We are seeking an Electrician for the Facilities Infrastructure team to assist in maintaining a world class maintenance organization for Gigafactory Nevada.
Responsibilities
Working in a small team you will be responsible for equipment monitoring per the maintenance programs, analyzing results and troubleshootingPartial discharge testing on MV equipmentBreaker acceptance and maintenance testing to NETA standardsTransformer oil sampling, and thermal scanningScheduling and carrying out testing per established proceduresReviewing test results and analyzing with engineering when anomalies are identifiedCreating work requests for maintenance when equipment issues are identified and following up to confirm work is completed in a timely mannerRequirements
Must have a minimum of 5+ years experience in industrial or commercial settings with trouble shooting, maintenance and/or construction, testing and commissioningExperience with medium and low voltage electrical equipmentProficient in interpreting electrical prints, schematics, complex manuals, instructions, and test dataAbility to organize and plan with little oversite and competing prioritiesStrong working knowledge of job site safety with the ability to thoroughly evaluate job hazards and complete pre-work task planning with an emphasis on identifying electrical hazards and proper safety proceduresMust have experience and proficiency in industrial electrical and instrument maintenance including application of electrical principlesMust be able to become proficient with a working knowledge of the National Electric Code and experience and proficiency working with the AC single phase and three phase systems ( 480V, 240V and 120V)Compensation and BenefitsBenefits
