With us, you’ll be able to make an impact while you hone your skills and grow in your career. We are looking for a Business Analyst to join the Financial Planning Applications team. The team is a part of the Applications Solutions organization within the Enterprise Shared Services Information Technology organization. You will work with IT and Finance teams across BAE Systems, Inc. and its businesses, helping them leverage business application capabilities provided by Financial Planning Services. The Financial Planning Services portfolio consists of Enterprise and Project Performance Management solutions used by Functional Finance and Project Finance teams across BAE Systems, INC and its businesses. The Financial Planning Services portfolio consists of a set of capabilities provided via COTS solutions from both the Oracle EPM and Deltek PPM product suites as well as a set of custom developed applications. In this role, you will provide business process and technical support across the EPM Service Offering. This role requires the ability to document functional and technical requirements, conduct testing, and deliver end user training. This role will also require the ability to administer systems across the EPM Services offering.

In this role, you will:• Administer Oracle Hyperion Planning, Oracle Essbase and Hyperion Financial Management Applications• Gain in-depth knowledge of current processes and business practices through shadowing, interviewing key participants, and maintaining an understanding of the business• Analyze, draft, validate, and finalize business and technical requirements• Clearly and effectively communicate business requirements and desired outcomes with technical team members to define the optimal solution• Partner with the development team to answer questions and work with other team members as technical issues or roadblocks arise• Create User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Test Cases and facilitate UAT sessions• Monitor and measure the effectiveness of processes post-implementation to ensure they continue to provide a positive impact on the team and are appropriate for the business• Core competencies in the creation of Business Cases, User Stories, Functional Requirements, and Workflow Diagrams. Additional competencies in the creation of data mapping, data modeling, and systems migrations are preferred.• Good verbal and written communication and presentation skills to accurately document and report findings to a variety of audiences• Good interpersonal skills to influence and guide team members, business partners, technical teams, and other stakeholders• Create, update, and maintain process and standards documents• Create training materials and conduct training sessions• Ensure solutions are secure and comply with IT Control requirements

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Business Analysis, Computer Information Systems, Data Analytics, Information Technology or equivalent preferredMust have 1-3 years of experience in a business or systems analyst roleAbility to facilitate cross-functional collaboration, effective communication, decision making, and conflict resolution Effective communication skills to ensure that goals, scope, and domain knowledge is shared and understood by everyone on the team as well as possibleBuilds productive relationships with peers and senior leaders and delivers on commitments to gain trust and respectMust have experience with Oracle EPM Product Suite including Hyperion Planning, Essbase and Hyperion Financial ManagementServiceNow experience a huge plusMust have an understanding of IT Security concepts (Access Controls, Change Management, Separation of Duties, Least Privilege, Flaw Remediation, etc.)Knowledge of ITIL concepts, ITIL v3/4 certification a huge plus

Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $60030 - $102060

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
