AidKit's first Product Manager , you will play a pivotal role in shaping our product strategy and roadmap, ensuring that our solutions for government benefit programs are both impactful and aligned with the needs of the communities we serve. You’ll work closely with our commercial and engineering teams to drive meaningful outcomes, ensuring our product remains adaptive and responsive to the markets AidKit serves and seeks to expand into.In this role, you'll bring
structure and discipline
to how we learn from the market, championing the voices of those we aim to empower. By creating a bridge between market needs and product innovation, you’ll ensure that AidKit’s solutions remain human-centered and informed by the diverse communities who rely on us. on the lives of those we support.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Strategy and Roadmap Development
Manage the product roadmap and drive strategic product-led initiativesCreate business cases for product investments, incorporating inputs from strategy, engineering, and commercial teams
Market Research and Customer Insight
Understand and articulate the needs of government administrators and beneficiaries across segmentsAnalyze market trends and user feedback to drive product improvements and innovationsEngage with government officials and other stakeholders to gather valuable insightsCollaborate with AidKit’s Chief Impact Officer to engage with our community advisory council and segment-specific partner advisory council.
Requirement Gathering and Prioritization
Prioritize features that deliver the most value to clients and align with company objectivesCreate user journeys, workflow maps, and prototypes to communicate feature requirementsConvert market understanding and customer insights into detailed product requirements and specifications, build feedback loops to ensure what is built actually solves the problems partners face
UX/UI Oversight and Accessibility
Ensure the product offers an intuitive and accessible user interfaceAbility to craft and evaluate complex interaction design for a low/no-code platform.
Cross-functional Collaboration and Leadership
Build buy-in by engaging stakeholders across the organization and providing compelling evidence and theory to support decisionsCollaborate with the Contracts and Compliance Manager to integrate regulatory requirements into the product
Product Performance and Improvement
Track investment, development trajectory, and ongoing market fit of product featuresImplement processes for systematic articulation of market needs and product learningContinuously gather and analyze user feedback to refine and enhance the user experience
About YouExperience in Enterprise B2B product management, with a preference for B2G or Civic Tech backgroundStrong product intuition, including design principles and UX/UI sensibilitiesAbility to translate customer needs into product requirementsExperience with no-code platforms and workflow configurationExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAdaptability and willingness to execute and play both a micro and macro role in delivering products to marketCompensation and LocationFor this full-time position, you can work from anywhere in the United States. The salary range for this role is $120,000 - $150,000.Benefits:
