This position is responsible for implementation of all ISO related and Quality policies, procedures, programs, and training to ensure that our customers receive a consistently superior quality products. The Quality Manager will work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to implement best practices, maintain quality standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Develop and apply quality control plans, test and inspection methods, statistical analysis methods, Root cause analysis methods, FMEA’s and standardize processes to continuously improve our quality performance. Maintain and improve product and process quality by driving product and internal/external compliance audits including ISO. Ensure adherence to industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and maintain all necessary documentation to support regulatory and compliance requirements
Manage and mentor the quality assurance team, providing training and support to ensure high performance.
Develop, implement, monitor and support continuous improvement efforts
Develop and monitor progress against quality standards
Provide feedback to manufacturing management based on in-process and final inspection results, information identified by product returns, measurement of performance against established goals, etc.
Ensure the company’s products, processes and documentation are in compliance with ISO 9001.
Administer the Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA) system
Maintain quality documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality manuals, and compliance records in the document management systems (DMS)
Review manufacturing processes and recommend actions or changes for quality improvements, ensure implementation and conduct or coordinate training on any changes
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, industrial management, or quality assurance or equivalent
10 years’ experience in quality and 5 years of quality leadership/ managerial experience in a quality or manufacturing environment
Working knowledge of ISO9001 Quality Management system, audit certification preferred.
ASQ or Six Sigma certifications (ASQ CMQ/QE, CQE, CQM, CQA, Green Belt, Black Belt) desirable
Demonstrated knowledge of advanced lean principles and methods (Lean Six-Sigma, Value Stream Mapping, Rapid Improvement Events) and Advance product quality planning (APQP).
Bachelors in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical engineering preferred)
