Military Contracts

Bring your experience and ideas and help us perform proposal and contract admin tasks including review of RFIs/RFPs, preparing estimate Requests, proposals, work authorization, customer correspondence, coordinating with internal/external customers; conducting negotiations and review/closeout of contract documents.

What You’ll be Doing as a Contracts Administrator

Coordinate Requests for Information (RFIs)/Requests for Proposal (RFPs)/Requests for Quotation (RFQs), and Estimate Requests (ERs) with internal and external customers.

Coordinate basic proposal preparation, assists with internal documentation for gate approvals as required, and obtain management approval for submission to the customer.

Develop basic proposal and contract strategy to include responsibility as the primary point of contact for the review of terms and conditions of contract/requirement documents for compliance.

Support basic negotiations ensuring customer needs are satisfied while meeting Bell business and financial objectives as well as supporting special assignments and projects within Contracts.

Assist in basic contract administration from contract award to contract closeout, which may include: internal notification of contract award and coordination of requirements to functional departments to advise of obligations during performance, contract notifications to customer, identification and resolution of changes, monitor funding and expenditures, facilitation of invoicing, coordination of all import/export licenses and authorizations, documentation of delivery/completion to the customer, and contract closeout.

Assess, maintain, and utilize Bell information management systems for reports/metrics, correspondence, files, presentations, analyses, and contract administration.

Coordinate with personnel in multiple functions, Integrated Program Teams (IPTs), and Centers of Excellence (COEs) and at a variety of levels to ensure effective and efficient compliance with contractual and customer requirements.

Demonstrate very good customer relationship management skillsas theprimary liaison between external customer and Bell for contractual matters.

Qualifications

Skills You Bring to This Role

Familiarity with FAR/DFARS and USG acquisition process preferred.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

PC Proficiency in MS Office applications.

What You Need to be Successful

3 years combined experience in Contracts, Finance, Pricing, Legal, Business Management, Program Management or Procurement.

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
