We are currently searching for a high-performing Human Resources Manager to support our People team across all HR functions. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role involves assisting with all elements of the employee lifecycle (attraction, recruitment, onboarding, development, retention, and separation), specifically focusing on the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities:

Help design, develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and best practices in alignment with organization goals, strategic direction and core values. Address employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance on said HR policies and procedures.

Participate in HR projects and initiatives to enhance employee engagement, culture, organizational effectiveness, and employee value proposition.

Drive talent practices that motivate and engage the workforce and align with KREWE brand, culture and business goals.

Operationalize a talent acquisition program, understanding the needs of each organizational function to effectively manage headcount and drive business results.

Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and orientation sessions are conducted, to deliver a consistent and timely experience aligned with KREWE culture and brand.

Assist in administering employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and inquiries.

Support performance management initiatives to retain and develop high-potential talent and prompt management of underperformers by preparing materials and tracking evaluation timelines.

Provide support in training and development initiatives by scheduling sessions and tracking participation.

Work with Maintenance & Facilities and IT to oversee office administration responsibilities (e.g. key fob activation) as necessary

Keep current with talent and HR trends to stay up to date on the changing talent landscape.

Requirements:

Based in New Orleans (with relocation assistance), requiring full time in-person office presence in our New Orleans headquarters.

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in HR support or generalist position, ideally in a startup environment or growing organization.

Strong knowledge of HR principles and practices.

Highly detail oriented.

Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.

Excellent Google Suite skills.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, and willing to speak up to suggest appropriate interventions.

High level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.

Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the HR field.

Experience working with a PEO is a plus.
