KMS Industries, Inc., an MRA member, is recruiting for a permanent, full-time Assembly Operator. Founded by a local family in 1971, KSM Industries, Inc.’s metal fabricating services sought to meet the changing and complex demands of Wisconsin area capital goods manufacturers. KSM Industries specializes in high-quality sheet metal assemblies and weldments of carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum.
Duties Include:
Working from simple assembly drawings, bills of material and other work instructions, follow prescribed procedures, gather, assemble, light machine, touch up paint, package, and load to pallet company product.
Work may involve minor fit up and alignment of assemblies; visually inspect product for proper appearance and operation.Light manufacturing and machining activities with hand/air tools as requiredTouch up painting of units with brush or spray paint as requiredAble to read prints and routings in order to interpret necessary work to be completed.Ability to communicate with fellow associates and follow required rules within the department and plant.Be able to have flexibility in performing other manual tasks as required
