CORPORATE DIRECTOR OF SECURITY INTELLIGENCE
JOB SUMMARY
The Corporate Director of Security Intelligence will be a role model providing leadership, direction, motivation, and training to the members of the Security Intelligence Center Team and Security Leaders Across the Company.The Corporate Director of Security Intelligence will set the standard of excellence by demonstrating personal integrity and creative investigative/analytical techniques.The Corporate Director of Security Intelligence serves to protect the integrity of Caesars Entertainment reputation, assets and legal liabilities, as well as its team members and guests.The Corporate Director of Security Intelligence will be responsible for functionality, personnel, reports, equipment and supplies necessary for the effective and efficient operation of the Security Intelligence Center, and other tasks assigned by the Corporate Vice President of Security.QUALIFICATIONS
The following qualifications will be required for the Corporate Director of Security Intelligence:
Preferred a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, International Affairs/Relations/Business, Emergency Management, Political Science, Criminal Justice or related disciplinePrior experience in a position with direct guest contact is preferredAbility to manage several tasks and personnel at onceA thorough knowledge of accepted Gaming and Security proceduresMust possess effective written and oral communication skillsProficient computer skills including Microsoft OfficeMust be able to work independently with little to no supervisionAbility to prepare and distribute high level reports such as; talent assessment, threat analysis, crime reports, etc.Ability to prioritize workload based on urgency; able to delegate tasks, and communicate to a range of audiences including to executive managementDemonstrated analytic and critical thinking skillsDemonstrated ability to ensure compliance, monitoring of assets, and making rapid notifications via mass communication toolsKnowledge of security operations/procedures and analytical productsAbility to assess and evaluate situations effectivelyAbility to identify critical issues quickly and accuratelyAttention to detailMust possess effective problem-solving skillsMust be able to obtain and possess a Nevada Gaming Card, an Alcohol Awareness Card (AES), and have a current and valid Nevada Driver's License.RESPONSIBILITIES
The Corporate Director of Security Intelligence acts as the liaison between outside entities and Caesars Entertainment. The Corporate Director of Security Intelligence shall be responsible for planning, directing, controlling, and coordinating all activities within the Security Intelligence Center Team, including but not limited to special events, conventions, major incidents, and holiday weekends. The Corporate Director of Security Intelligence will establish priorities, maintain follow-up to ensure adherence to work standards, and report all security matters to the Corporate Vice President of Security. Specific duties or tasks may vary and be documented separately. Additional duties may be assigned, and functions may be modified, according to business necessity. The Corporate Director of Security Intelligence will have specific responsibilities to include, but not limited to the following areas and criteria:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES
Interact with the Directors of Security from the Caesars Entertainment properties as necessary.Communicate with other departments as needed for security or situational awareness purposes.Governance of the Caesars Entertainment Crisis Communication Platform (Caesars Alerts - Everbridge) and the ability to instruct the properties HR, Public Relations, Internal Communications and Security Leader on use of the system. Provide Caesars Alert messages for properties without trained leaders on the Caesars Alerts system.Governance of the Caesars Entertainment Security Computer Aided Dispatch & Report Writing System ITrak. Including training of Security leadership at the properties on system functionality and editing system at requests of properties based on need.Receive a Secret Level Clearance through the Department of Homeland Security in order to receive Secret level briefings from the Federal Government on matters affecting the company.Evaluate new technologies, systems, artificial intelligence software that support keeping the properties safe from all threats and hazards. Negotiate with vendors in conjunction with Caesars sourcing partners the costs associated with the programs.Prepare reports and evidence for use in legal actions, coordinating with Caesars Entertainment properties and personnel, local, state and federal law enforcement.Ensure NO reports of any nature are released to members of the general public without prior permission of the Corporate Vice President of Security.Ensure the Corporate Vice President of Security is contacted in the event any major incident has occurred on a Caesars Entertainment property, nationally, or globally.The Corporate Director of Security Intelligence will be "on call" 24 hours, 7 days a week, and as such, will respond to the Security Intelligence Center at the request of the Corporate Vice President of Security.Maintain a high level of confidentiality.Track, analyze and maintain an incident database of trends and patterns, and will communicate trends and intelligence with the Corporate Vice President of Security and any additional Caesars Entertainment Security personnel - on a need to know basis.Assure compliance with the Gaming Control jurisdictions, company rules, regulations, and have knowledge of applicable laws.Ensure development of professional relationships with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, and with senior security management.Articulate and communicate written and verbal communications to an executive audience, accurately and precisely on a consistent basisUtilize and display above average critical thinking skills, in times of high stress with sometimes undefined processes and procedures.Analyze threats and envision potential or real-time impact to stakeholders, clients, talent, properties or assets, with the ability to develop or implement quick responses or mitigation strategies.Display original thinking and creativity, meet challenges with resourcefulness, generate suggestions for improving work, and develop innovative approaches to complex problems.Review, analyze and escalate open source intelligence, and subscription-based intelligence to help mitigate and report global threats to company property, team members and stakeholders.Support tactical open source monitoring efforts during special events, security incidents, disasters and other crises on a global basisAt the Corporate Vice President of Security's direction, the Corporate Director of Security Intelligence will liaison with law enforcement, fire department, or industrial and civil emergency response organizations related to emergencies on Company property.Evaluate and disseminate incoming information and reports from Caesars Entertainment security personnel, security officers in the field, Caesars Entertainment team members, suppliers, reporting parties, and local agenciesProvide timely communications and actionable intelligence to support the protection of people, assets/intellectual property, and infrastructure of center and related interests/entitiesServe as the hub for the monitoring, analysis, and interpretation of risks and threats that may affect the business and ensure all systems, both hardware and software, are functioning properly, and immediately notify appropriate stakeholdersPerform analysis, planning, and provide direction in order to ensure that the Security Intelligence Center is delivering maximum value to the businessIdentify and communicate daily all critical items requiring the attention of senior management and coordinate with Security Directors to provide necessary documentationDevelop training and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for personnel assigned to the Security Intelligence Center and control rooms to facilitate effective performanceDirect Security Intelligence Center personnel on multiple shifts, complete performance appraisals, handling employee complaints and discipliningPERSONAL CHARACTERISTCS / ATTRIBUTES
