SUMMARY

The Trainer conducts and documents training for heavy duty truck service technicians, compressed natural gas fuel system installation technicians, compressed natural gas fuel system production employees, service support, and customers operating compressed natural gas vehicles. Training objectives include but are not limited to; the installation, sales, safety, maintenance, service and repair of production natural gas fuel systems, support equipment, and production operations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Design and document training program, including outline, text, handouts, and visual presentations.Confer with management, sales team, and staff to determine training objectives.Manage training staff engaged in the delivery of training programs and related materials in support of training objectives.Thoroughly understand the operational aspects of Natural Gas fuel systems and the safety requirements in working with it.Work with management to implement a continuous improvement model for all training platforms.Conduct research into new training, educational, and multimedia technologies.Maintain an indexed and current inventory of all training documentation.Maintain training records for all internal staff and all customer-based training.Administer written and practical exams to evaluate trainees performance.Maintain an in-depth knowledge of applicable state and federal laws as well as a strong knowledge in the regulatory process and procedures of the operation.Schedule classes based on operational need.Must be able to travel to various customer sites and within the dealer network.Demonstrate a high degree of proficiency in business operational shrewdness, good judgment, planning, communicating orally and in writing, business knowledge, and expertise within areas of responsibility. Show understanding and knowledge of key market trends.Maintain a positive corporate culture that promotes ethical practices, integrity, and a constructive work environment, enabling the company to attract, retain, and motivate quality employees and to increase customer satisfaction and retention.Ensure company policies, practices and audit standards are in compliance.Must have strong interpersonal and communication skillsMaintain safe work environment.Maintain professional appearance.As a condition of continued employment, the employee is required to exhibit positive corporate citizenship, with demonstrated ability to positively interact with others, follow required Company policies and procedures which include but are not limited to policies regarding conduct, record keeping, and safety. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Associate degree (A.S. or A.A.S.) from a two-year college or trade school preferredMinimum of three years related experience in compressed natural gas industry.Must possess a current and valid driver license with a driving record that meets the insurability guidelines et forth by the companys insurance carrier.Must obtain and maintain the applicable employee license with the Texas Railroad Commission; must pass test within 90 days of hire.
