Palliative Medicine Physician needed in Carrollton, GA (Permanent)
Position Highlights:Location: Carrollton, Georgia (40 miles from Atlanta, GA)Schedule: Full-time, Monday Friday (5 days/40 hours per week)Requirements: Board Eligible/Board Certified in Palliative MedicineMust live locally
About the Position:Join an established collaborative and collegial inpatient palliative care team comprised of one physician, a dedicated full-time LPN, and a full-time licensed social workerHelp develop an outpatient program to enhance and grow Palliative Care servicesOversee the design & implementation of an outpatient palliative care clinic, including a Home Based Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner programExperience practicing Palliative Medicine in an acute care hospital setting with program management experience preferred
Job Duties & Responsibilities:Provide inpatient and limited outpatient palliative care services in west GeorgiaFunction as a program builder by developing an outpatient palliative care clinic
Education Requirements:Board Certified in Hospice and Palliative Care through the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative MedicineBoard Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or General SurgeryCompletion of an accredited Palliative Medicine FellowshipCurrent GA Medical License or must meet eligibility requirements
