And so much more!Essential Job DutiesThis position's overall function is utilizing a standard floor care practice to maintain hard surface and carpeted floors throughout the campus. The position utilizes standard and specialize equipment and chemicals to accomplish their tasks.
Applies standard procedures, equipment and tools to strip and refinish hard surface floors in addition to extracting carpeted areas within scheduled buildings. Utilize standard housekeeping equipment, tools and supplies to accomplish basic floorcare tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, shower-scrubbing, stripping, finish application, and carpet extraction.
Other ResponsibilitiesUtilize truck-mount to address building floods and responds to various emergencies within buildings.
QualificationsMinimum Experience/EducationSome knowledge of cleaning procedures, ability to follow instructions and to perform medium to heavy physical work; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.Special certification may be required for some of these positions.
Other Required Qualifications
Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds frequently and up to 90 pounds occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodationsMust be able to communicate effectively with supervisor and the general publicMust be able to follow instructions and other communications regarding assignments and other mattersExperience performing housekeeping duties and floor care dutiesSpecial certification may be required for some of these positions
