Required Education/Experience
High School Diploma/GED and 2 years of full time design work experience or
Associate's Degree In Engineering (Electrical preferred).
Relevant Work Experience
Posses working knowledge of building codes, manufactures equipment drawings and material specifications. Required
This career requires a working knowledge of drafting, power plant and substation, operation and design. Required
Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office software. Required
Working knowledge of drafting standards, design drawing preparation of general arrangements, sections, elevations, installation details, electrical wiring drawings and schematics. Required
Familiarity with power and control wiring and raceway system concepts, design and installations. Required
Licenses And Certfications
Driver's License Required
Additional Physical Demands
Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
Able to work in all weather condition.
Able to work in both office and field environments (to include substation, steam and power generation stations).
Able to walk extensively, climb, stoop, bend and kneel.
Able to work extended hours, including weekends as conditions require.
Able to wear the required personal protective equipment as required.
