The Digital Communications Manager will work closely with the Senior Manager, Communications, and company leaders to ensure internal and external communications align with company priorities and initiatives while informing, engaging and inspiring the team.The Digital Communications Manager must communicate clearly and concisely, deal with ambiguity, work calmly under pressure, and represent the brand to the highest standards within and outside of the organization.
What you will do...Collaborates with key players to identify digital communications opportunities and provide critical messaging to stakeholder groups in the organization, including field and corporate employees of all levelsDevelops strategic plan and creates content for company's digital communications channels, including SharePoint intranet and social mediaAdministers company's digital communications channels, including SharePoint intranet, social media and blogManages content calendar and produces communications for various digital channels, including news stories published to SharePoint intranet and social media posts.Records, edits and produces company podcast to support and enhance leader communicationsMeasures and tracks the effectiveness of company's digital communications channelsCollaborates with internal teams, including IT and Operations, to amplify brand attributes and develop stories that define the company's core valuesSupports the Communications Team in other duties, as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, multimedia, English or related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience on a corporate communications team, with an individual focus in digital communications
Skills
Excellent writing and editing skills, including knowledge and usage of Associated Press style, with a concentration in digital communications initiatives; writing samples will be requiredDemonstrated storytelling ability across a variety of communications channels, with a focus on socializing company messagingProven experience with multimedia applications, including podcasting, photography and videographyStrong problem-solving skills with attention to detailProven time-management and organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple, competing prioritiesProfessional and confident presence to engage internal partners and external stakeholdersDemonstrated experience building relationships across all levels of the companyCollaborative contributor, able to work independently and as part of a team to deliver innovative ideas and solutions
