JOB PURPOSE:This Architectural Project Management position will focus on becoming the liaison between the Corporate Architecture group and external consultants supporting our projects in the Florida region and will be responsible for managing designs, development, and lot specific reviews.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Duties and Responsibilities:Assist in the management of residential home design and construction projects from initial concept through completionSupport senior managers in achieving departmental goals, developing project timelines, budgets, and resource allocationCollaborate with architects, engineers, and division teams to refine project plans and specificationsCoordinate resolution of field issues, permit comments, and divisional changes per DRB Homes' standardsReview and assist in the approval of architectural drawings, construction documents, and specificationsEnsure projects adhere to local, state, and federal building codes and regulationsReview and manage the process of lot specific drawingsPrepare project status updates and documentation for senior project managers and other DRB Homes stakeholdersOther related duties as required or assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:Knowledge and SkillsAbility to communicate effectively both in written and verbal formatsAbility to multi-task and establish prioritiesKnowledge of residential construction and operations.Ability to create, manipulate, and read CAD drawings, Architectural blueprints, and engineering drawingsNEWSTAR/BuildPro experience a plusProficiency in MS Office software applicationsAnalytical and organized
Education and Work Experience
High School diploma or equivalent required and 1-3 years of experience in architectural project managementBasic knowledge of architectural design principles, building codes, and construction practices
Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment
Problem solving skills and attention to detail
Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
Knowledge of residential construction preferred
