As a Business Development Rep, you'll play a key role in developing and maintaining client relationships, setting strategic goals, tracking progress, and driving sales activity across multiple industries. Identify, interview, evaluate, and qualify potential clients.Diagnose business and technical challenges faced by prospects.Assist in developing and presenting proposals to clients.Lead efforts to secure signed contracts.Regularly visit clients to assess satisfaction and identify additional needs.Build knowledge, expertise, and a robust client network.Attend trade shows, conferences, and educational events.Conduct industry research and contribute to setting strategic direction.Clearly communicate our value proposition to customers.Lead proposal teams by setting clear direction (establish value proposition to client)Maintain organized records of meetings, phone calls, and emails.Plan and organize sales calls and educational activities for clients and prospective clients.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications
A 4-year degree in Business, Engineering, or Technology is preferred.2-5 years of experience in selling services; experience in construction is a plus.Preferred Skills:Strong organizational abilities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change.A collaborative team player with a drive to support others.Exceptional customer service skills.Location & Travel: The
position is based in or near our Omaha, NE office.
