The Seller Fulfillment Services team is looking for an experienced Program Manager III with experience in online, e-commerce logistics or fulfillment. You will be responsible for designing, launching, and driving adoption of new transportation and fulfillment initiatives that shape the future of the customer experience for merchant fulfilled shipments on Amazon. This position includes working extensively with third party carrier stakeholders internally and externally to drive adoption of MFN transportation offerings world-wide. A successful candidate will set work with 3P carriers, product teams, country leadership teams, and account management teams to clear hurdles to growth in WW marketplaces and allow sellers to deliver improved delivery experience for customers. Candidates will have an established background in transportation, program management, excellent communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a dynamic fast paced environment.

Identify, design, develop, implement and execute new and existing processes, policies, goals and solutions to increase adoption of fulfillment solution that enhance the overall customer experience.

Drive development efforts and manage priorities for project/program completion, including operational solutions.

Carrier Scoping & Contract Negotiation:

Analyzing data to identify commercial opportunities with carriers

Creating and presenting volume projections to carriers

Negotiating contracts that align with Amazon's MFN transportation strategy

Ensuring high standards, attention to detail, and creativity in managing contract terms

Carrier Onboarding, Integration, and Maintenance:

Owning the configuration and operational details of assigned carriers

Coordinating the integration process with product and tech teams

Developing business requirement documents (BRDs) to capture all integration requirements

Balancing the needs of tech teams and the carrier negotiations

A day in the life

Carrier Management (Day-to-Day):

Monitoring carrier performance and shipment volumes

Presenting insights and recommendations to senior leadership

Handling day-to-day issues like tickets, claims, invoicing, and escalations

Representing carriers in internal forums and collaborating cross-functionally

The Carrier Manager role requires a blend of strategic thinking, operational expertise, and strong cross-functional collaboration to ensure Amazon provides the best transportation solutions for its Sellers.

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of program or project management experience

Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of driving process improvements experience

Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
