Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and organized Dispatcher to join our team at DUCTZ. As a dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient scheduling and coordination of our HVAC technicians. You will be the point of contact for customers, responding to service requests, and facilitating communication between clients and field staff.
Responsibilities including but not limited to
Receive inbound emergency and non-emergency calls
Collect and document information from callers
Prioritize calls according to the level of urgency
Transmit information to the appropriate person or department
Direct response units to appropriate location
Monitor status of the response team
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule and dispatch HVAC technicians to service calls efficiently.
Manage incoming calls and inquiries from customers regarding service requests.
Provide timely updates to customers on technician arrival times and service status.
Maintain accurate records of service calls, customer interactions, and technician schedules.
Assist with route planning to optimize technician efficiency and reduce travel time.
Coordinate with team members to ensure adequate staffing and coverage.
Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally.
Monitor and track job progress to ensure timely completion of services.
Assist with inventory management and ordering of necessary supplies.
Qualifications:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in using dispatching software and basic computer applications.
