The role is key to maintaining personnel documents in a secure and compliant fashion as well as provides back up support to other functions as needed during peak processing times.
Confidential and accurate processing and review of employee data including new hire, termination, rate changes, and other employee information changes, as well as electronic filing of personnel related documents
Run and review Motor Vehicle Record reports, maintain MVR files, track and send ineligible letters, provide regular eligibility reports.
Process Background Checks, E Verify of Form I9s, assist in audits as required.
Provide backup support for Benefits Administration during peak times, assist in covering Benefit Team and front Reception vacations.
Assist in scheduling preemployment drug screens and Fit For Duty Tower Climbing physicals as needed, confidentially file and track results, reconcile invoices.
Complete and support processing of all unemployment claims in a timely manner.
Complete requested information and return when needed, protest when needed, and attend phone hearings when needed.
Confidentially and timely complete and return all employment verification and employment letter requests
Assist with the ordering of Business cards for new employees and as needed for current employees.
Generate, track Employee ID Access Badges for new and existing employees.
New Hire Reporting
Submit electronic reports for new hires and rehires weekly to the Indiana New Hire Registry.
Assist in reporting, compiling data, and provide document pulling services for audit purposes as requested by the supervisor or VP of HR
Assist in reconciling expenses and submitting electronic Expense Reports
Respond to employee requests as related to benefits, pay, troubleshooting the Employee Self Service Portal. Provide polite, timely support and problem solving to all employees and supervisor always.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor or VP of HR
EducationHigh School Diploma
Position RequirementsMust be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future
1 to 3 years experience in an office environment
One year of HR experience strongly preferred but not required
