Vice Chanc Res Direct OfficeFull Time81340BRJob SummaryThe Program Manager will manage all aspects of the UCSF Program for Breakthrough Biomedical Research (PBBR) and inter-related Basic Sciences Research Resources Oversight Committee (BSRROC) activity. The incumbent reports to the Program Director and is expected to independently formulate and execute a work plan to achieve the goals of the Program. The incumbent determines strategies and priorities for reaching goals and objectives and proposes changes to the goals. The incumbent manages all aspects of the program including financial, communications, implementation, oversight, administration, and strategy. The incumbent supervises one Financial Analyst 3 in this role. Detailed breakdown of tasks and effort, below.
The incumbent will also facilitate and manage ad hoc projects for the Vice Chancellor of Research's Office for Science Policy and Strategy, School of Medicine and the President of the Chan Zuckerberg Biohub In this capacity the incumbent will work with the School of Medicine and Chan Zuckerberg Biohub to delineate project scopes, provide project support, develop and deliver work products and execute tasks on work plans and initiatives.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF.
