This role is a W2 role and will not consider C2C candidates.Job SummaryYou will lead a new team within our Henry Schein One engineering group, which collectively runs the largest dental practice platform in the world. Our group is responsible for the services that are used by dental practices in the US, both directly to dental practices and to dental service organizations. The teams we're creating with this role will be responsible for maintaining our existing software and building new services using microservice architecture using event sourcing for storing all dental practice information in the cloud.The right candidate will thrive in an environment of asynchronous communication. We expect you to have excellent written communication skills and be able to create working relationships with coworkers located around the globe. In this role also you will lead, providing guidance, support, and advice to your team. QualificationsWhat You Will HaveBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or a related field or equivalent professional working experience10+ years of increasing responsibility and complexity in agile software development3+ years of experience managing distributed and remote teams of full-time employees and contractorsPrior experience leading cross functional teams building microservices and following CI/CD best practices that improve DORA metricsExcellent organizational, time management and communication skillsExperience building and operating microservices at global scale utilizing event sourced architecture
The posted range for this position is
$125,000 - $172,000
which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. This position is eligible for a
15% bonus
