The Production Designer will be responsible for designing and preparing packaging and marketing collateral artwork for print production, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all designs. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, a deep understanding of design principles, and proficiency in prepress and production workflows. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the creative director, production teams, and print vendors to ensure flawless execution of all printed materials.A resume and a portfolio are required when applying for this role.Essential Functions:

Create or modify artwork for packaging and other marketing collateral, maintaining brand consistency and design standardsRoll out artwork across different dielines and templates while maintaining hierarchy and fundamental layout principlesPrepare packaging and marketing collateral artwork for print production, ensuring all files meet printer specificationsPre-flight files and export them for production, ensuring compatibility and readiness for printReview and approve proofs to ensure quality and color accuracySupport the development and optimization of prepress workflows, systems, and equipment to enhance efficiency and qualityOrganize and maintain design and production files, ensuring easy access and retrieval for team membersCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and vendors, to ensure seamless project executionSupport Print Shop processes with typesetting, technology support and creating templatesCross check and approval/proof for labels before new print runsManage asset catalogue and organize Brand Folder filesCollaborate across teams to maintain design consistency across various media channelsRequired Skills and Qualifications:Experience:

3-5 years of experience in production design, preferably within packaging, consumer goods, or a related industryExperience with Typesetting and templatizingTechnical Skills:Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and other relevant design and prepress softwareStrong understanding of prepress and print production processes, including color management, die cutting, and finishing techniquesFamiliarity with different print production methods (offset, digital, flexo, etc.) and materialsDesign:Strong understanding of fundamental design principles such as layout, hierarchy, typography, and color theoryExperience working with dielines and templates, ensuring accurate alignment and scaling of artworkDetail-Oriented:

Exceptional attention to detail, with a keen eye for identifying errors and inconsistencies in design filesProblem-Solving : Ability to troubleshoot and resolve prepress issues quickly and effectivelyOrganization : Strong organizational and file management and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlinesCommunication:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and external vendorsAdaptability:
