Hybrid: Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.The Compass Call program is an airborne electronic attack weapon system that has been actively deployed, supported, and modernized for over 40 years. The Compass Call program encompasses the full life-cycle from technical studies and development to production, support equipment, and training. With the introduction of cross decking to the platform, BAE Systems became the prime contractor for Contractor Logistics Support (CLS). This Subcontract Program Manager position offers the opportunity to help manage our key supplier partners through continued programThis role evaluates, negotiates, and manages assigned subcontracts to perform to each project’s specifications, quality, budget, schedule and earned value requirements to include the timely delivery of all deliverables required to fulfill the subcontract. This individual authors, manages, and influences critical path releases of Statements of Works (SOWs) and plans to align with required schedules and subcontractor lead times. Additional responsibilities include supporting new business and developing financial plans for the company, as it pertains to the planned outsourced portion of the project(s). The successful candidate must possess strong leadership skills, especially in ethics, safety, corporate responsibility, and security.In this role you will:Manage the execution of subcontracts for materials, equipment, supplies and services of a highly-specialized and complex nature through all phases of the program lifecycle.Deliver quality customer service to both internal and external customers and foster and maintain good supplier relationships, while driving a Zero Defect mindset with suppliers.Evaluate, negotiate, and manage assigned subcontracts to perform to each project’s specifications, quality, budget, schedule and earned value requirements to include the timely delivery of all deliverables required to fulfill the subcontract.Author, manage and influence critical path releases of Statements of Works (SOWs) and plans to align with required schedules and subcontractor lead times.Participate in the support of new business and in the development of financial plans for the company, as it pertains to the planned outsourced portion of the project(s).Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Bachelor's degree in a related field of studyExperience in Subcontract Management, Project Management or Program ManagementStrong demonstrated negotiation skills and strategiesTechnical and business acumenSuccessful, proven record of leading and managing multi-discipline project teamsExperience developing long-term strategies and tactical plans to achieve enterprise objectivesAbility to develop plans specifying goals, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resourcesExperience with scope management and cost estimating, including estimate to complete/estimate at completion (ETC/EAC) processesStrong interpersonal skills with a focus on relationship building, leading through influence, and the ability to effectively communicate (verbally and in writing) at all levelsAbility to communicate with senior management regarding subcontract performance status (cost / schedule / resources / risk) as well as performance to financial objectivesPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Master’s Degree in Engineering and/or Business AdministrationExperience leading cross-functional teams Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)Program Management Institute’s (PMI) Program Management Professional (PMP) certificationDemonstrated Risk Management experienceExperience with information systems such as OracleKnowledge of acquisition policies and procedures with associated knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR)Experience managing the development and compliance of requirements (SOWs, specifications, contractual terms, etc.)Strong organizational skills to handle many overlapping projects simultaneously

Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $126610 - $215270

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
