Transportation CoordinatorA day in the life as a Transportation CoordinatorSupport execution of store and home delivery center deliveries, ensuring accurate shipping plans and schedules, including transportation optimization, return logistics and peak season strategiesConsistently deliver operational performance against established KPIs and budget, performing root-cause analysis as needed and creating necessary action plans to manage performanceExecute against Peak Season plans/strategies to support the challenging needs of the businessSupport Transportation Manager in yard staffing, scheduling, and usage as well as in supporting the building with all inbound and outbound transportation responsibilitiesInteract with Field Leadership, Store Operations, Loss Prevention, and transportation providers to ensure overall execution of CBH service/standardsPlan and communicate the truck capacity requirements and ensure an adequate supply of truck power and trailers.Ensure steady flow of inbound and outbound movements, resulting in the timely arrival of merchandise to stores and maximum utilization of lowest cost carriers.Provides guidance and/or training to other peer Transportation Coordinator when applicableAudits Yard Management System for carrier/trailer accuracy.Build in-depth working knowledge of the Transportation Management Systems so that you can design, test, and implement new configuration and parameters that drive efficienciesGather and maintain CBH Transportation and Logistics master dataSupport outbound transportation projects and initiatives as assigned or directedCreate and follow Standard Operating Process (SOP) guides for Outbound activitiesPerforms other post and duties as required or directed.Provide direction for miscellaneous outbound shipments, ie.
