We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively convey information through different channels. As the Intern for Video Production & ThunderVision, you will develop and maintain strong cross-departmental relationships while executing various project requests, gaining firsthand experience in a fast-paced environment.

Spring internships begin January 13, 2025. Our internship program offers hands-on experience, along with supplemental activities such as resume reviews, personal and professional development workshops, and events designed to enhance your internship experience. Perks include paid downtown parking and tickets to a home game during the season.

In this role you will:Organize and maintain digital archives. Log camera shots from in-arena show, cut proof-of-plays from game recordings, and create melts from game videographer footageEdit pre-designed templates to build high-quality contentAssist in assembling back drops and lighting equipment for video shootsLearn accurate camera techniques using various DSLR and broadcast camerasElevate your editing skills by learning detailed color correction, strategic shot selection, and pacingShadow ThunderVision personnel during select home gamesPerform other duties as assignedWhat you will bring to the role:

Presently enrolled at an accredited college or university and approved by your school to receive internship creditStudents pursuing a degree in broadcasting, video production, marketing, motion graphics, or related fields preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and ExcelSome experience with Sony, Canon, and Panasonic cameras is preferred but not requiredAvid, Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator experience improves our Intern's role within the teamKnowledge of control room equipment such as Ross XPression, Click FX, Evertz DreamCatcher opens to door for future opportunities

Additional Details:

This is a paid, in-person internship reporting to the Manager, ThunderVision. The work schedule will be 20-29 hours during office hours; however, we will have late-night video shoots as well as Thunder and Blue game night opportunities for this position. The primary work location is the Thunder corporate office located at the Paycom Center in downtown Oklahoma City. The physical requirements include lifting and carrying up to approximately 30 pounds and working in-arena, in the presence of loud music and crowd noise and flashing or strobe lighting.
