Hospital Employed Orthopedic Surgery Opportunity in Beautiful Missouri OzarksSouthern Missouri health system is searching for a compassionate BE/BC orthopedic surgeon to join their team of 3 orthopedic surgeons.Position is open due to increased volume.Call is 1:3, call pay available if exceeding contractual call requirementsCurrently there are 2 full-time orthopedic surgeons and 1 full-time orthopedic/spine surgeon employed by the hospitalSupports one hospital and one clinicClinic is Monday Friday, 8 a.m. 5 p.m.X-ray onsite in clinicPhysicians have their own nurse plus additional float nurses5 OR rooms with dedicated block timeMAKO robot assisted partial knee, total knee, total hipMD/DO Anesthesia coverage with CRNA supportStrong primary care referral baseHospitalist team support12 bed ICU with critical care specialist24/7 Hospitalist coverageInterventional RadiologyAnnual ER visits: 28 000Teaching opportunities are availableCurrent procedures:ACLHandsCarpal TunnelTrigger ReleaseFracturesMeniscus TearsCortisone and Gel InjectionsTotal Joint: Shoulder, Knee, and HipArthroscopic Knee and ShoulderMAKO Hip and Knee (total and partial)They are interested in growing their orthopedic service line and willing to incorporate new procedures.
