Electrician

Job Description Electrician Support production operations for all maintenance and repairs for electrical problems on a variety of machines such as but not limited to robots, CNC lathes, mills, conveyors, induction heating equipment and forging presses. Analyze, troubleshoot and maintain all plant equipment through the application of sound PLC troubleshooting techniques and superior repair methodology. Work from available drawings and equipment specifications and schematics. Perform preventive, predictive and routine inspection maintenance. Select materials and operate equipment to complete work including electrical hand tools, conduit bending equipment, megger insulation tester and voltage or ampere measuring devices Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Follow all applicable state, federal, and local regulations. Follow all MIOSHA and AAM safety rules. Required Skills and Education Minimum 8 years work experience in a similar role ideally in production orientated environment, with emphasis on presses and machine automation. Experience with relay logic, motors, motor starters and control circuits for AC & DC Motors. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to work as a team or independently with little supervision. Shift flexibility is essential. Preferred PLC experience with Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley and GE Fanuc Journeyman's Card (Electrician)
