Job Description

The Solution Manager provides technical expertise and guides solution offer creation activities to address customer's needs as well as to achieve business targets.

The Solution Manager provides MN Services Portfolio expertise to support the sales team ahead of the actual sales to drive sales of an optimum solution mix to customers. Works with customers and development teams to create the best fit offering. Contributes to / defines the technical strategy towards the designated customer(s), optimally adapts towards their vision, requirements, and needs in close collaboration with the respective customer teams and market solution team / head. Makes technical presentations to customers focusing on Nokia's value proposition to customer during prospect and negotiation phases.

Responsibilities

As part of the team, you will:Proactively identify and develop services related business opportunities in collaboration with the sales team aligned with the Mobile Networks (MN) strategy and customer needs.Work together with customers and business product lines to create compelling solutions or solution extensions to grow MN business.Deliver customer value propositions, respond to related technical/solution portions of tenders, and prepare solution reference pricing.Be responsible for timely production of technical and service-based solutions and contract deliverables.Ensure execution and handover of services projects to delivery, logistics, and service teams.Coordinate and build strong relationships with customer organizations, relevant stakeholders, and all related management teams.Travel: Up to 50%Note: No sponsorship or relocation offered for this role

Qualifications

You have:

At least 10 years of services-based consulting, solutioning, presales and/or business development experience.Solid knowledge of Nokia MN Services portfolio and understanding of Nokia sales and delivery processes, tools, products and services.Proven experience in site acquisition, construction, C&I, and pre-launch optimization services.Knowledge of Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) solutions, 4G/5G technologies and microwave transport solutions.Ability to perform under pressure and excel in a complex selling environment driving consistent strategy across multiple customer sets.Excellent problem-solving, communication and presentation skills.Ability to openly collaborate and build trust within own unit and across organizations.Demonstrated track record of making solid commitments and delivering results.It would be nice if you also had:

Prior experience supporting Tier2 CSPs, rural/regional service providers, cable and wireline operatorsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Master's degree preferred.Demonstrated influencing and negotiation skillsAbout Us
