Merrick & Company is seeking a college or graduate school Electrical Engineering student for a paid summer internship for the
Summer of 2025
for our Aiken, SC office.The summer internship has a commitment of approximately mid-May through mid-August 2025.We will be accepting resumes for this opportunity from approximately September November 2024. Resumes will be reviewed as they are received. Interviews will take place in the Fall/Winter. Offers will be extended in Winter/Spring. Timeframe subject to change.What You'll Do:The summer internship will provide an undergraduate or graduate student an opportunity to gain technical experience in the field of electrical engineering. The intern will be exposed to a variety of electrical engineering experiences and tasks including, but not limited to glovebox electrical design, lighting, grounding, fire detection, communication analysis and design, instrumentation, and control design.The position requires the collaboration with other disciplines, ability to interface with engineers, designers, and clients, follow schedules and budget commitments, work independently and in a team environment, possess good written and oral communication skills and the ability to problem solve.Qualifications:Must
be pursuing an engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited programMust
be currently enrolled and entering junior year or higher of undergraduate degree or currently enrolled in grad schoolClient projects for this position require US CitizenshipPerks:
