Overview:

Merrick & Company is seeking a college senior or graduate school student majoring in Architecture for a paid summer student internship for

Summer 2025

for our Atlanta, Georgia or Merritt Island, Florida office.The summer internship has a commitment of approximately mid-May through mid-August 2025.We will be accepting resumes for this opportunity from approximately September November 2024. Resumes will be reviewed as they are received. Interviews will take place in the Fall/Winter. Offers will be extended in Winter/Spring. Timeframe subject to change.What You'll Do:The summer internship will provide the Architecture student an opportunity to gain technical experience in the field of architecture. The intern will be exposed to all aspects of the project design and have the chance to work on unique and interesting projects.This individual will work in a multi-discipline design studio working under the supervision of the Project Architect. The position requires the ability to receive specific and detailed instructions regarding architectural tasks. Looking for an individual who takes the initiative to either work out or research a work effort and understands his/her capabilities and when to seek help from mentors. The position requires the collaboration with other drafters/designers, the ability to follow directions and schedules, work independently, possess good written and oral communication skills as well as the ability to problem solve. Must be team oriented, self-starting and focused on producing good design in a most efficient manner and meets expectations for attendance and punctuality.Qualifications:Basic knowledge of Revit is required.Must

be a senior pursuing an Architecture degree from an NAAB accredited program or a current graduate student pursuing a Masters degree in Architecture.Must

include a portfolio with application.Client projects for this position require U.S. CitizenshipDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Basic skills in AutoCAD, Sketch-up, and 3D MAX.Knowledge in Adobe Photoshop and graphic experience.Local candidates are strongly preferred.Perks:
