Tetra Tech's High Performance Building Division is hiring a highly motivated Environmental Project Manager to join our team. The selected individual will be responsible for managing environmental projects and will have a unique opportunity to work one on one with a team-house experts to ensure that projects are completed on schedule, within budget and in accordance with established environmental regulations.
Your Contributions will Include: Lead and execute end-to-end project management for among other things, compliance initiatives, business development, proposal creation, budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their compliance needs, and providing strategic guidance and support. Collaborate with technical staff to develop tailored solutions that meet client objectives and regulatory standards. Provide thought leadership both internally and with external clients and stakeholders (including but not limited to writing blogs, conducting presentations, and speaking at industry conferences) Ensure accurate and timely reporting of project progress, performance metrics, and compliance with environmental regulations and standards. Provide leadership, mentorship and training to project teams, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment. Support and actively participate in operational strategies and directives.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field from a four-year college or university. 5 years of experience managing environmental projects, with completion on time and within budget. Project Management Certification. Strong understanding of environmental regulations and industry standards (e.g., CAA, EPCRA). Knowledge of compliance concepts and practices such as: air permitting and modeling. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A valid driver's license, and ability to travel to client offices and project sites as required. Must be U.S. Citizen.
This role can be performed from a wide range of locations throughout the US. The pay range for this position is between $90,000 - $115,000; however, base pay offered may vary depending on primary work location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience and internal parity.
