Job Description SUMMARY: The Data Modeler is responsible for the design, execution and maintenance of data models created towards developing a set of data domains. The position participates as a member of the Chief Data Office data modeling team by leveraging both internal and external datasets to assist the business with creating a set of AI data domains. Design, create, deploy & maintain data models and relational databases via GitHub, DBT & SnowflakeWork collaboratively with business owners, source system engineers and downstream consumers to ensure efficiency and best practicesCollaborate with the modeling architecture team to establish data integrity and sources of truthConsult subject matter experts within the stride network on best practicesSupport initiatives for data strategy (governance, documentation and normalization)Process confidential data and information according to guidelines
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities. MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field, or equivalent trainingFive (5) years of relevant professional experience with data modeling tools, including at least three (3) years of experience in handling large data sets using fact and dimension models at an enterprise level OREquivalent combination of education and experience

Demonstrated success in working collaboratively with other professional staffExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficiency with SQL, relational data tables and data modeling principlesProficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint)Ability to travel up to 10% of the timeAbility to clear required background check

Experience with Visual Studio, DBT Core, Github, Bitbucket, PythonExperience with various formats including but not limited to relational, JSON, Neo4j graphing databasesDemonstrated experience in creating end to end products to drive business outcomesExperience working with educational data

Compensation & Benefits: Stride, Inc. considers a person's education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position's work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee's salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position's level and expected contribution, and the employee's benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range. We anticipate the salary range to be $66,379.50 to $170,037.60. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. This salary is not guaranteed, as an individual's compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market c nditions.Stride offers a robust benefits package for eligible employees that can include health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
