RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Finance Manager - Capital Expenditures & Investment Analysis is responsible for the financialization of the annual Capital Planning process and also leads the assessment and recommendation of potential investment opportunities. This is conducted through financial analysis, and supporting decision-making processes related to the capital and expense components of investments through the use of various financial models and in partnership with Segment and Supply Chain Finance, Operations, R&D, Marketing, Sales and others. The incumbent will support M&A overflow as needed.Lead the preparation and management of capital budgets for the enterprise, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial targets. Provide counsel to the planning team on spend assumptions and strategic recommendations to leadership on spend allocations.Assess and analyze potential investments for the enterprise, including, but not limited to new facility construction, plant upgrades, equipment acquisitions, and technology enhancements. Evaluate the financial feasibility and strategic alignment of proposed projects, considering factors such as production capacity, operational costs, supply chain impacts and general business growth.Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to project the financial impact of manufacturing plant investments, including return on investment (ROI), net present value (NPV), and internal rate of return (IRR).Prepare detailed investment reports and presentations specific to projects, highlighting key findings, financial projections, and strategic recommendations. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior management and project managers to support informed decision-making and ensure alignment on investment strategies.QUALIFICATIONS:
Required
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field.5+ years of Finance or related FP&A experience.Must demonstrate a critical blend of strong enterprise strategic thinking and cross-functional leadership capabilities.Well developed business acumen.Ability to influence, advise and manage across cross-functional players.Ability to synthesize clearly and simplify the complex.Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines and make ongoing decisions with key stakeholder input.Comfort with ambiguity and ability to shape, elevate and move planning forward.High emotional intelligence/IQ and strong relationship management skills.Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.Applicants must not now, or in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa.
