The TMCOne Clara Vista Pediatrics specializes in an inclusive pediatric practice in Tucson, welcoming all children and their families. We are committed to providing compassionate high-quality care to all patients. We treat all patients from 0-20 including those chronic or complex health problems. Our services include: same day sick appointments, physical exams, immunizations, vaccines, circumcisions, sports physicals, yearly wellness exams, premature infant care and tongue-tie procedures (frenectomy) and has operating hours of Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm. Our team is seeking a team member to further support our family and patient centered culture.SUMMARY :Supervises and coordinates activities of personnel involved in a variety of clinical areas. Verifies that patients’ needs are met and evaluates care provided. Assigns duties to professional and auxiliary personnel in accordance with instructions. Oversees maintenance of patient clinical records and compiles reports on medical services rendered. Maintains established inventory standards for solutions, supplies, and equipment.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :Assists in hiring of qualified personnel, skilled and non-skilled, according to position descriptions.Supervises professional, technical, and/or clerical employees; prepares work schedules, staff assignments, and observes performance to provide input for formal evaluations and recommendations for personnel actions.Interviews, hires, and trains employees; plans, assigns, and directs work; oversees rewards; disciplines employees, addresses complaints, and resolves problems.Participates in maintenance, completion, and submission of reports and records as required by policy, federal, state, and local regulation; maintains compliance of department to Standards of Operation.Demonstrates leadership during schedule conflicts, unplanned changes in activity, last minute deadlines, and crisis situations.Applies analytical reasoning, rational problem-solving skills, using evidence-based information; acts as a resource to other staff members.Maintains established inventory standards for solutions, supplies and equipment.Adheres to and supports team members in exhibiting TMCH values of integrity, community, compassion, and dedication.Adheres to TMC organizational and department-specific safety, confidentiality, values, policies and standards.Performs related duties as assigned.Cardiac Rehab:Maintains knowledge of standards of care, job performance, and hospital/department policies and procedures, demonstrated through leadership of self and staff.
Demonstrates knowledge of cardiac rehab unit, continuous quality improvement, and professional development.
Education:
Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Licensure or Certification:
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and current Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certifications required.
Ambulatory Surgery:Supervises employees providing surgical supplies and equipment inventory control, and oversight of procedure charging systems.
Education:
Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
Licensure or Certification:
None required.
Labor & Delivery:Supervises surgical technicians and clerical staff in Labor and Delivery. Consults with charge nurse or unit supervisor when determining unit staffing needs.
Assigns personnel to duty in their assigned unit, and makes adjustments for special requests and/or unusual circumstances.
Prepares rooms with appropriate instruments, sutures, supplies and equipment.
Participates in actual care of the patient when situation requires it.
Education:
Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in nursing field.
Licensure or Certification:
Current Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).Medical Library:Supervises processes that support timely provision of high quality, clinical information to physicians, residents and staff of TMC.
Ensures a high quality collection of both print and electronic information sources is available either locally or accessible via Internet or inter-library loan.
Education:
Master’s Degree in Information Resources and Library Sciences.
Licensure or Certification:
None required.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or an equivalent combination of relevant education and six (6) years of relevant experience.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
